American Doritos contain MSG. That would probably do it.

Very insightful.

MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,0001·22 hours agoYeah that’s certainly possible but it’s still unfair reporting to just leave out that part of her story.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,00012·22 hours agoI already said I wasn’t trying to excuse her behavior. It was dumb and unnecessary, and clearly not very helpful.

MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,00012·22 hours agoYawn. I’ve heard this so often before it’s lost all impact.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,00021·1 day agoAgreed. Clearly the slur was not helpful, as it escalated the situation instead of defusing it (big surprise, I know).
It’s just disappointing to see grown adults act just as irresponsible as the children they are supposed to care for.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,00017·1 day agoI already said it’s not an excuse for her behavior but it is important context for the story. The article makes it seem like she called him a slur without any provocation whatsoever. Whether the allegation is true or not is a different story, but it’s definitely leaving out an important detail from the video.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,00034·1 day agoThis happened on a public playground, not in a school. As far as I could see from the video, there were no teachers or authority figures in sight.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000314·2 days agoIt’s all manufactured outrage if you ask me. They want you to get mad and stay mad so they can tell you who to hate and what to do about it instead of doing something productive with your life.
Without social media and the Internet, none of us would have ever heard about this incident (or others like it), unless it happened to someone we actually know, and our lives would have likely been better for it. Definitely more peaceful.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000420·2 days agoThe guy in the video didn’t seem all that interested in his son’s behavior, although it’s hard to tell if it was because he was more offended about the slur. I don’t really see any winners here, they both acted like idiots if you ask me.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000112·2 days agoIt’s not the words that are hurting you in that case, it’s the people with guns who are enforcing them.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000320·2 days agoWhatever happened to “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me”?
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000125·2 days agoWhat would you say could have been learned from this?
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000313·2 days agoThe article makes it appear as if she called the child a slur for no reason at all. Whether her excuse is valid is another question, but you can’t just leave that out.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000413·2 days agoIt is a fact that she claims that the child was stealing from her.
MacN'Cheezus@lemmy.todayto politics @lemmy.world•Woman called a child the N word, then she claimed to be the victim. So far she raised over $150,000831·2 days agoThe article is missing an important fact, namely that the child allegedly tried to steal from her. There is no video evidence of this (as far as I know), but it probably should have been mentioned in the article.
Not saying that’s an excuse for her behavior, but it does provide some background as to why she’s claiming to be a victim.
