FIAT Professional introduces in Africa and Middle East (MEA) the TRIS, its first-ever three-wheeled electric vehicle, expanding the brand’s commitment to sustainability and last mile delivery. TRIS, designed at Centro Stile in Italy, is a fully electric vehicle with a 90 km range, created to be an affordable ultra-light commercial vehicle. TRIS will be available in the main MEA markets, introducing a new era of compact electric vehicles designed to tackle everyday urban challenges.

Maybe the only good thing coming out of Stellantis these days… an electric Ape! A very typical italian vehicle, although I suppose in Asia such kind of vehicles are much more common? As we see with these traditional european brands, too much effort is put into nostalgia and design elements that bring up the price for nothing (500e, Renault 5 E-Tech, Grande Panda, ID Buzz). I like a good looking car, but if it stretches the price too far out the competition range it’s bad.

The 9kW of power are are pretty laughable, but if they are enough to move it around, they are enough.

    These used to be ubiquous in my country in the 80’s and 90’s. It used to be complimented on the amount of cargo it could carry. Not fast but reliable.
