In the Netherlands, it’s not like the King or his family aren’t doing anything. They are somewhat like special ambassadors for the country. They also are highly connected, both to people in governments and other people in a position of power. And they do answer to the Parliament.

Trump wasn’t president a year ago, and it was the same back then. Besides that, the communities that aren’t supposed to be political tend to get a lot of political content, for instance every time Elon farts it gets posted to the technology communities. The only option not to get confronted with this is to block lots of communities and/or users.

Pick a study which fits you curriculum wise. It doesn’t have to perfect, as long as it’s interesting enough and it’s doable for you. If you’re lucky you’ll figure it out during your study years, otherwise you’ll figure it out after you start working. In my experience, people with a somewhat fitting education tend to stumble into a job they like. Also remember a job is just that, a means to pay for your lifestyle.

Says who I hate my job? I have switched jobs occasionally, but these guys will work somewhere for less than two years on average. I’m specifically referring to the seagull category of coworkers here, they come flying in with a lot of noise, shit all over the place and then leave with a lot of noise, leaving the shit to clean up for others.
