I read a story in the paper about a middle-class white family that knew a big storm was coming and got out, and didn’t bother to warn their neighbors, poor whites living in a trailer park, who all died. And I was like, yeah that tracks.

3·16 days agoYeah, I’ve gotten really tired of seeing victims of this administration get kicked by opponents of this administration, based on sweeping generalizations of “you all voted for this.” The kickers are not the helpers.
30·22 days agoI learned how to install Linux Mint on my old computer that had been running Windows 10 for exactly this reason. And then I bought a new laptop and installed Fedora on it. Goodbye Microsoft!
(Yes, I had to learn a new skill for this, but it turned out to not be that difficult, and it was worth it.)
