I’ve designed banners and flags in Inkscape, convention signage, even electoral campaign materials like business cards, handcards, campaign signs. A great tool
Can someone check in with the inventor of the web and ask him what the web’s business model is?
growing up in my grandmothers house, she never ever ever used the front door except if there was some kind of event like a funeral. It was like, the fancy door.
they also almost never used the living room except when people were visiting.
Your life is the way it is because you’ve decided that it’s more comfortable to leave it that way than to change it.
Srsly years and years of therapy this was the only thing that did anything for me
Is it worth noting that I only know this because of the spoof horror movie Repossessed?

It’s like, he was pretty woke for a Pope, but, he was still a Pope.
I don’t think things would have worked out well had he gone full prog anyway. There’d be schisms for sure. Hell, Trump would probably declare an American Catholic Church and have himself elected Pope of it. (Shit, I really shouldn’t have given him that idea)
I don’t really know which way he personally felt. But even a Jesuit at the end of the day is a Catholic.
There’s some hope… part of Francis’ papacy involved him promoting more open-minded cardinals (who are the ones who choose popes) but we’ll see
Somedays I really have to question whether such people really exist. I mean really? What do they think America is?
Edit: I mean, I get it from the people in power, they want to cozy up to that power and so they will parrot its rhetoric. So companies, lobbyists, etc., sure.
But like, regular people? With day jobs? Who function in regular society going to stores and cooking food and cleaning homes and all that? What is their actual vision of America here?
