Very true! The whole domain squatting thing is pretty bizarre to me.

The .org seems to require a log in. I wonder what entity has these domains. I imagine the folks working to manifest the fediverse don’t have the capacity to buy up all the possible domains.

This is frustrating to read. I used Duolingo over ten years ago, and was going to use it again to get back into some things, but now what? It seems that it is not what I remember it being. I only used it on a computer, and probably would now.

I am not sure about fashion, but I have found that repairing clothing is pretty cheap. Even if you pay a tailor to do so. Maybe patches can be fashionable but I just don’t want my toe to catch that little knee hole and create a problem.

Wow, that looks a lot like a China themed sign for a hotel/restaurant in my little town. The sign used to have a Great Horned Owl family living in it. I miss them.
