You claim that each group fighting for their own unique needs and rights is some how splintering our unity. You do know intersectionality is a thing, right? Just because I’m for gay rights doesn’t mean I’m against black rights. Each group has their own unique needs and there is some interplay between them but there is absolutely no shame or downside to communicating those unique needs.
What you claim sounds very similar to an argument I often hear from right-wingers. “Gays and Lesbians already have equal rights. They have the right to marry someone of the opposite sex just like everyone else.”
There is a difference between equality and equity.
You claim that is the fault of minorities demanding equal rights that inequality in wealth has risen rather than put the blame squarely where it’s deserved: the right wing, and people who couldn’t be bothered to vote against the right wing (or worse, the people discouraging others from voting for the only opposition party to the right wing).
You claim that “leftists” are that different from tankies but judging by your own rhetoric which is incredibly hostile to minorities, I’d say they are quite the same.
