You really got to wonder what that 2 in 10 thinks about the history of presidents of this country. I mean there’s been some stinkers but Jesus.

I just checked to see who was listed in my area, I sure would like to boycott them but I’d never heard of any of them before so I guess I already was.

Seems to track pretty directly to me. Political system that results in less rights and less voice for the people equals less engagement. I mean that’s one to one almost. Particularly when that same system also favors corporations to an absurd degree that exploit workers the breaking point.

It’s kind of both. It’s incorrect and correct the same time. I mean you can’t really make an argument it’s an elected position because you can’t choose a vice president. There is literally no way I could have voted for Harris and Vance at the same time. I don’t get to cast a ballot for the vice president. I literally don’t vote for them. I vote for the total ticket. So if you’re going by the strict definition of election it doesn’t technically fit. Choice is necessary in the word elect.

Don’t get me wrong I get your point. It’s a moot argument really. But the more you think about it the more it kind of pisses me off. I literally don’t get to choose the vice president. In a democracy.

Also the strangers thing ain’t exactly solved by having one gender bathroom is it? So that seems like a moot point to me.
