He has a Kodak reels film digitiser (that’s what it says on the machine), it scans the film bit by bit and transfers it on an SD card. It’s kind of loud and annoying lol

My husband does, I think it’s really cool (disclosure: I may be a little biased). He buys random super 8 film canisters on eBay, scans them and uploads them on his channel.

There was a massive drought a couple of years ago and it took a long time to recover, I think we barely managed to get back to normal, so it’s very concerning it’s happening again.

Hopefully we learnt some lessons from the previous one about abstraction and emergency licencing. Time will tell.

Oof I’m too much of a casual to install my own RAM on a laptop, I’m too scared to break something! As the other user commented, a good second hand laptop is probably better anyway.

I’m very new to Linux and a very casual user but I’m really loving it. I also can’t afford the existing Linux laptops, and I am on the market for a new machine. So yeah I’d buy a cheap laptop that ships with Linux. If it comes with a discount, that’s even better!

For those who’ll open this thread to look for general luggage not necessarily made in Europe, IT Luggage is decent (I have 3 suitcases from like 2018 that went through about a dozen short flights and 2 long haul ones). UK-based company and most likely made in China.
