It’s free and works for me, why should I stop using Virtualbox?

I stupidly bought a VMWare Workstation license when I first got on the Windows 11 train. Bright eyed and bushy tailed and all that rubbish. My experience was such shit that I abandoned it all for Linux and Virtualbox.

This is probably my main issue. I have a technical problem, I provide detailed reasons why it is a problem, and propose solutions. I ask for feedback from the team, because I don’t want to railroad people and appreciate multiple perspectives.

I’ll try to be more succinct in my messages going forward, which are generally only 5 sentences or so. If this issue still persists I have another problem.

I spent most of my time gaming and not going out. Frozen pizzas, top ramen, bulk stuff to keep costs down.

I built a new PC last year and bought a copy of Windows 11. Holy moly the login process required so much bullshit that I skipped through. It also every few days tries to get me to go through it again. After learning about all the Spyware and other bullshit I decided to just take the plunge back into using Linux as a main OS.
