Does it have to be radio? Maybe infrared would be enough? You could use a TSOP 2438 as a receiver and any old IR remote.
Also there’s a
timeout
setting in the same file.

It will take many years to replace these with something European. The same for Android and iOS, Windows and macOS and all the apps that were built for these. Cisco and Juniper - sure, just replace all of their hardware with something European.
Tariffs are insane when Trump applies them, they are equally insane when Europe will apply them.

I find it astonishing that such giant ships don’t have an autopilot that can at least stop the ship before it crashes into land. Or a dead man’s switch which would wake up the watch man or someone else.

apt show intel-microcode
it tells you that there is aamd64-microcode
package as well. If it is not already installed, you can install it, and then try to remove intel-microcode. If it doesn’t want to remove anything else (e.g. the kernel), you can remove it. If not, just leave it installed.

You could use a babyphone or a camera (e.g. an old phone).
I’m not sure if an Alexa (Echo Dot or so) would react on the little tune of your washer, but it hears the standard annoying beeps of my washer.

Umrechnungshilfe der Batterieleistung:
Wattstunden (Wh) = Amperestunden (Ah) x Spannung (V) oder Wattstunden (Wh) = Milliamperestunden (mAh) x Spannung (V) / 1 000
Und welche Spannung nimmt man da an? Vermutlich 3.7V?

One core with 900 Mhz, ARMv6. I don’t think Home Assistant will be a lot of fun on that.
Or just use completion: press tab once or twice after the ssh command (and a space). If that doesn’t work, install the bash-completion package.
