colourlesspony@pawb.socialto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How to get rid of swollen batteries?910·15 days agoIf you have multi meter and the voltage is at zero then it should be safe to recycle normally. If it’s charged and swollen then it’s a fire risk. Keep the battery in the phone and in a metal container until you know there is no energy left in the battery. A dead battery even swollen shouldn’t be a fire risk.

Thanks! Darktable is great.
Yep, I noticed when I upload large images they never get many upvotes. I think pawb has slow bandwidth and people don’t want to wait for a large image to download.
Thanks! Mt Lemmon in Tucson, AZ.
Nice! I took my shot on Mt Lemmon in Tucson.
colourlesspony@pawb.socialto Linux@lemmy.ml•Request for Comments: Linux autorotate fix writeup4·2 months agoI have been looking into how to do this. I wish it wasn’t complicated. Both my legion go and SZBOX JX5 have the auto rotate off 90 degrees. It’s really annoying.

I never thought I needed a filament dryer. I got one anyways and it turns out I did need one. My print are so much better now. Would recommend.
There is ChimeraOS for gaming. You can install most modern distros and the gamepad will still work like a gamepad. Navigating most Desktop Enviroments will be problematic without a keyboard and mouse though.
colourlesspony@pawb.socialto Linux@lemmy.ml•13" or smaller Linux laptop - best replacement for aging chromebook?0·2 years agoYeah, I should be more clear. I’m talking about laptops that the manufacture openly supports or ships a linux distro with it. I just assume OP already knows he can do a bit of research and get a decent $300 laptop from like lenovo/acer/hp/dell/etc… and install linux on it.

Yeah, I’m in Arizona like the other guy.
Mines out for delivery today. I’m so hyped. I got the special edition one.
edit: Just got it. It’s beautiful
I’m personally convinced that the cause of back problems is sitting way to much.
