  • I have not “condemnated” anything. I just pointed out that it might not worth trying to get result worth the effort out of a piece of way too limited hartdware. If you can’t find the ironical hybris in an idea like smashing a camera on a glued canvas to get a nice pic out of it then don’t blame me for ""not allowing fun* and give a try to self-reflection instead of self-importantness. Moralist fanatism is the arch enemy of artistic liberty.

  • That doesn’t change the fact that there’s pretty much no way to improve the quality of Gameboy shots. I’d personally have more fun doing the purposed deconstruction of the device on canvas. At least I’d have some influence on the result, which tickles my creative spot while the output of toy cameras will be of predictably shitty quality but lacking reasonable ways to improve the output. You can’t even enlarge and cut out or meddle wit exposure or contrast. The fixed, poststamp like format also doesn’t leave you any room for composition. If you want to get creative with antique technology and for no budget, for fucks sake get an old analog camera and darkroom gear. You can get pro equipment second hand that once was eyewatering expensive and you’ll never get bored with for small money.

To be fair, that’s a very special vehicle most likely to be used in a quarry and nowhere else. It serves it’s purpose, everyone knows it is around and you can hardly fail to notice it from a reasonable distance. Very much unlike an SUV which is technically useless, driven by morons, a waste of material, every reasonable designers’ or engineer’s nightmare and always in a place where it does not belong.

  • I guess most of WW1’s facilities handling chemicals had better safety than the average Spanish commercial unit in 2025. I’ve worked in Spain for almost a year and as great as Spain is, really, the utter neglectance of anything protecting you from falling into your death, gettng electrocuted, run over, flattened by something falling off a crane and any unnecessary, awful way of geting killed is quite unnerving. It’s not that I haven’t actually seen it fucking happen. The bloody risk (loose handrail) was obvious for anyone but noone cared - until somebody came to death.

  • Any club that’s worth it’s admission will hand you a pair of stickers and insist you’ll cover your phone’s cameras with them at the entry. Also any serious club will show you the way to the door if you start recording video in there. The “clubs” referenced in the article seem to be shitty Discos rather than clubs. You’re not going to McDonalds to complain you couldn’t get any lobster carpaggio there, so don’t go to Uncle Ernie’s village spot and decry the downfall of club culture.

  • Nonsense. You seem to think the USA is everywhere and you don’t understand the difference between states and individuals. Trump has zero authority in Vatican state. The pope does not leave Vatican state and “go home” anywhere. Not ever, except for official visits. Trump can fuck wall outlets or squirrels but he has absolutely no viable way to screw with the pope - he can’t even threat to sanction the Vatican as he did with Sweden and whoever else, because the do not export anything. He can’t freeze his payments because he literally owns nothing. Right: the pope does not recieve a salary and does not have any personal belongings. He doesn’t need to pay for anything (there are people in his entourage who will do that for him) he does not need to own something, the Vatican will provide anything the pope requires.
