The gall of a country with 5% of the total population but 20% of the incarcerated population lecturing the rest of the world on freedom.

Go find a successful and ambitious person to fall in love with, marry, and be a happy male housewife.

Fun fact: the word husband comes from house-bond, i.e. homeowner. So “house-husband” is in a sense redundant.

Alternatively, find a job you are at least decent at and can tolerate. You don’t need to love your job and be passionate about it to be happy.

Look, I’m glad that these far right parties are losing. But it’s going to take so much more than a few center-left parties winning one election cycle to end the rise of the authoritarian right.

As seen in last US election, voting for the ideal candidate meant the worse candidate won.

Is there actual evidence for this? Was there a higher than usual vote for 3rd party candidates in this election, and has that been determined to be the cause of Harris losing? Legit curious.

Can we not? Why take a dig at poor people to make fun of a rich person?

It’s unclear to me how they even could save taxpayers anything. It’s not like when they fire a government employee, the money shows up in people’s tax returns. I suppose they could fire the entire IRS so you just don’t have to pay taxes at all, but then I guess you aren’t a “taxpayer”, and thus not worthy of consideration.
