In eternity for lemmy it shows as a link to https://www.reddit.com/if I long press it, but has an invalid link error if I try to click it.
Or even upload similar videos with crazier less logical conspiracies included so you can lump them all together to discredit them.
It could work if done selectively on key areas that are statistically slanted to one side, but the logistics of pulling that off and keeping it a secret mean it’s just not a logical conspiracy.
If they’re not prepared to turn down the TV to a reasonable level that’s on them. They know it’s upsetting you and are prepared to continue upsetting you. That’s really unhealthy and inconsiderate behaviour.
One thing that might help is getting them to use headphones with the TV. Most TVs these days have Bluetooth support. If I’m watching a movie late at night (common) I’ll always use headphones. Again it’s just common courtesy.

But more seriously, its probably the trick of perspective: the higher the seating position makes the vehicle footprint feel smaller and feel like you’re moving slower and also makes it easier to see over the smaller cars in traffic 😅

You just cant see whats in your way up close, so it’s less anxiety inducing to drive than a full size sedan. “What you don’t know can’t hurt you” 🤪

Me too: there’s just something about how repetitive thier cadence can be, and putting random infections and stresses on words where it doesn’t make sense.

But yeah, I think what you’re referring to is normally called “closed captions”, but I can see how it would be shortened to just “captions” for convenience in some cases.

Sounds like they’ve never used an email that’s been leaked… I use an old email address for things I know are going to spam me, and the volume of “black hat spam” it recieves is way more than the “white-collar spam”.
