I don’t think any US auto maker is going to overcome the home field advantage in China. BYD is making some great cars, they have over half the EV charging stations in the world, and why on Earth would they pay a premium for a fucking Chevy?

Sure sucks to be a US automaker. Meanwhile, the rest of the world eats our lunch. That’s just about the level of incompetence I expect from Republicans.

Diminishing the US globally is their whole deal right now. Makes sense when you consider how much Russia is bankrolling them.
