The IRS thing (Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público in México) has been a thing for a while, the driver’s license was new as for last year as far as I know.

I don’t know about OP but in México when you get your driver’s license, passport or file taxes, fingerprints and iris recognition are a must, no exceptions.

Are there any perks to this kind of job? Like how teachers get the summer off? (Do they still do that?) I had a friend who is a mortician and ahe said that one of the biggest perks of her job was that she diidn’t need to make small talk. A bit dark but a perk nonetheless.

Try different things until you find something that feels good even as an idea. Think about things you like doing and how you like them. For me, I dislike team sports and being surrounded by people in a gym setting. I like doing things on my own, preferably at home while not talking to anyone. I first start thinking about maybe enjoying a spooky story podcast while walking so I start thinking about the temperature and the things I like watching while I’m out, etc. Same for weight lifting, pilates and yoga (Those are my cyclical workouts. I get bored easily) I hype myself up in my head first and then use the “do it for five minutes” method.

I have NEVER said “Well I wish I didn’t come to yoga. This class sucked” “That lifting routine was a total waste of time. Not doing it again”

Also, having cute/neat stuff for it helps, just beware of spending habits. Did I need to buy green yoga blocks? No Do they make me Happy everytime I look how they are the exact same shade as my pothos? Yes they do.

7Hey fellow road rager! I too suffer from this aillment while knowing at the same time that it could be life threatening if I cross paths with an armed short fused a$$hole. I live in a very high traffic city with stuff to do on both sides of it, taking my kid to some classes results in a two hour commute and then two hours back home. Not easy and it makes me want to light my hair on fire sooooo me and my kid play the “maybe” game:

Maybe that guy cut me off because he is pooping in his pants (Kid laughs and it Takes the edge of me bursting into flames)

Maybe that lady trying to pass me in a not so nice way is late for her flight to (insert whatever place you/your kid think of and talk about what things you’d like to do there. While in Italy, for example, we thought about asking for a pizza with pineapple on it and putting a clown wig on the David)

I could go on and on (I won’t) but the main thing is to redirect my anger as energy to somewhere else.

I find it amusing when I do it with my kid because it helps us connect while spending time together. When I am by myself I play it too, but the NSFW version: This guy is tailgating me because he cannot wait to get pegg3d when he gets home. Etc etc. I chuckle for a bit and let it pass. Not kink shaming anyone at all.

When people dismiss children’s concerns. Maybe to adults is not a big deal, but to kids it does matter. I make an effort to pay attention and listen when a child tells me something.

Have you watched “Historias para no dormir”? It was series of Spanish horror movies, I think four or five. My favorite from that series was “La habitación del niño” such a good story! I am a horror buff and it is always refreshing to watch something that surprises me in a good way.
