I highly doubt it’s anything. They’re selfish egotistical people out for their own gains. Elon never cared for Trump or the Republicans, just about what made him the most money. Now he’s buthurt and lashing out.

Honestly, I think it’s a good idea. As long as it’s clearly highlighted that “this is an AI generated summary”, it could be very useful. I feel like a lot of people here have never tried to e.g. read a maths article without having a PHD in mathematics. I would often find myself trying to remember what a term means or how it works in practice, only to be met by a giant article going into extreme technical detail that I for the life of me cannot understand, but if I were to ask ChatGPT to explain it I would immediately get it.

What do you find unintuitive? Of all the complaints I personally never found it unintuitive to use.

My phone is nearing end of support next year and I’ve been considering the Fairphone for a while now. I really wanna like it but I’ve seen a lot of people having issues with their software. Hopefully they’ll get better at it, well see.

I actually disagree, Elon has been a high profile, staunch supporter of the Republicans and Trump for a while now and was at a high level position with a lot of influence on the government (head of DOGE), and still has significant influence on Republicans, I think it’s only natural to ask someone like that their opinions on government policy.

I mean, if unmotivated soldiers were useless then drafting wouldn’t really be a thing. You get a hell of a lot of motivation to survive when you’re thrown into combat.

I’ve been using Zen for about a month now and I’m very happy with it. I like the design and feel of it, and it’s actively being developed all the time. Don’t think I’ve had any significant bugs (except a few very minor ones) or issues whilst using it yet.

I mean, its literally the same thing as using a Master Card or Visa card, they’re both US firms. And I find it extremely convenient not to have to pull out my wallet and rummage through it each time to find my card and then sometimes be forced to type in my pin, and then have to put the card back in and my wallet back into my pocket. I just have to tap my phone, which is always on me (would be even more convenient if I had a watch that supported it as well but I don’t), and sometimes have to rescan my fingerprint to confirm.

I’m pretty sure that they removed a lot of the telemetry in a very recent update, so I’m not sure how it stacks up now.

I mean, that really wasn’t a “meltdown” but sure.

I don’t see it mention it doing anything by itself? This is just an overblown aditional context menu action from inbuilt Windows apps, nothing special. Same thing as “Open Folder in VS Code”.

I mean I guess it makes some sense. Linux Subsystem for Windows to the uninitiated might sound like it “comes from the Linux brand”, whilst Windows Subsystem for Linux sounds more like its made by Windows.

The way generative AI works means no matter how good the data it’s still gonna bullshit and lie, it won’t “know” if it knows something or not. It’s a chaotic process, no ML algorithm has ever produced 100% correct results.

Friggin hate how locked down the Quest is, you basically can’t do anything with it.
