I just turned 42 and was only just diagnosed with ADHD inattentive type and ASD type 1 last year. The only way I got the idea to get diagnosed was because of my youtube algorithm ending up on videos that talked about neurodivergence, so one could say it was kind of by random chance. And because I might have slightly above average IQ or whatever, I was one of those that could do their homework 1 hour before bedtime the day before it needed handing in. Or when it came to math I’d just do it in the break as soon as we had gotten the homework in the breaks to avoid doing it at home.

I’m reminded of this old Catwoman PS2 game clip.
Anyway, they’re not entirely wrong. I doubt I’ll live to even 84, so I have passed halfway through life and my whole body hurts when I sleep longer than 7 hours.
So I resonate with the “I know I will die soon” line.

Ahh, I did read about that just now from another thread. About this archwiki page in particular.

Ole Thestrup was such a good comedic actor for many of the same movies, his deliveries were so friggin’ funny. It’s a shame this clip doesn’t have subtitles, but it starts out with the scene you mention.

I don’t think I’ve seen KDE like this before, very cool. And I can see from upvoting you in the past that you’re pretty new to linux, but it certainly looks like you’ve landed on your feet. I don’t remember why I installed easy effects, but I see you using it here, are there any advantages for doing so? Is it to boost output or something?

I heard somewhere that society’s only real jobs are the one you can depict in a children’s book, but I don’t know about this one.

To some extent you’re right. There’d be less content if nobody paid. But imagine current society without treats. I don’t know if capitalism without “panem et circenses” would start to crumble real fast.

Well, I am dairy man, so I’ve seen, smelled and tasted a lot of funky stuff.

In rare cases white mold cheese will taste like blue mold cheese because of cross contamination, but that’s about the only defect I’ve experienced buying cheese close to their expiration dates. Oh, and camembert cheeses being a bit too runny and ammonia tasting, but as a sicko I kind of like that.

Let me put it this way: They print expiration dates on SALT.
Now, it’s pretty convenient that stores here in Denmark sell products cheaper just before they “expire” because certain products actually get better with time like cheese.
Safe to say I’m the second type hehe…

It wasn’t a carnival, it was a candy themed amusement park, and one of the stands was “make your own lolipop”, and I wasn’t looking, and fuck - I got stung on my tongue by a wasp.
That’s probably the easiest connection for me to make if I had been part of that conversation.

I unfortunately don’t know of any other games on top of my head. I know Lego Island is close to 100% reverse engineered, but I’m not certain it’ll get released as an open source game like Space Cadet.
