Trains and bikes! Trains and bikes!!
Great point. They definitely should take responsibility. I just want to keep the history of imperialism in mind. I don’t want to excuse the US at all.
Yeah sure, but the labour always earns way more money then the employees actually get. I think that part is quite simple. It’s just abstract to people, because forcing workers to sell their time and health is so normalised.
I thought it’s about pants too xD. Damn shorts with their quick cutting and cropped style!
To be fair, the US only turned out the way it did, because of a bunch of imperialistic European countries (or governments).
Good point. What I wonder what word would fit better: Fees, dues, expenses, charges, bills
Damit sagt er Menschenleben wären das Geld nicht wert. Keine Überraschung, aber trotzdem krass dass er das so sagt.
We had big shortages in toilet paper, disinfectant and cooking oil (at least in Germany) just a few years ago. The capitalism of European countries doesn’t exist in a vacuum either, it influences other countries. People are constantly starving and freezing to death under capitalism.
Point being: capitalism isn’t the way you make it out to be.
I completely agree, other systems have the potential to screw the environment as well. But capitalism is inherently like that and reached environment destroying records. I believe these things are simultaneously true.
You are still shifting the blame away from capitalism. If we acknowledge capitalism as the problem, then we can change things. If we claim humans are inherently the problem, then it seems pointless to improve.
That’s so cool! But they probably still only get a fraction of the space cars get.
What do you think could be a better system?
If there is a squirrel, then I’m gonna look at it, not gonna lie.
