I grew up with some of the first games. Loved Sierra’s library. Played some of the more eclectic games like Battle Beast and Howie’s Great Word Adventure. As far as programs went, I didn’t get much into it until later. But, I do remember using the Microsoft Works Creative Writing Program. That was fun to do designs on.
This is why I’m glad for Lemmy. At first it outraged me, but after seeing the conversation, it does sound more like a dark parody from The Hunger Games (i.e. JabberJays) which is completely possible with current drone tech and speakers, but X to doubt until source cited.

The library of things is also something many public libraries have now. Not just media, but tools, power tools, cooking pans and equipment, pod casting equipment. Definitely worth a look.
