Instead of a “renaissance man”, I’m a “renaissance nerd”. Pinball? Sure. Sci-fi? Of course. video games? Natch. 70’s Italian Prog-rock? A raison d’etre.

It really isn’t - does he get in flagrante delicto or something?
Agreed on the library card. But the best ribs I’ve ever had, surprisingly to me, were from a chain (Red Hot & Blue) that had dry-rubbed ribs that had the perfect amount of flavor, tender but not too tender, and weren’t going to require a hose-down when finished
Nah. Largely accurate. But not everything is covered in BBQ sauce - the best BBQ needs none. But don’t get me started on the gravy.

Mbourgon everywhere@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•Kennedy Jr backtracks and says US measles outbreak is now a ‘top priority’ for health department0·2 months agoI think you’re overly optimistic here. Samoa was only 6 years ago.
Remember this anytime you see this fuck say anything about “it’s for the children”. His group encouraged them not to vaccinate, and then:
“Months after Kennedy’s visit, the question of what would happen to Samoa’s unvaccinated babies was answered. A measles outbreak swept the country, sickening thousands and killing 83, mostly small children. As measles raged, Kennedy stayed connected to the island, writing to the prime minister to raise concerns about the vaccine and providing medical guidance to a local anti-vaccine activist who posted false claims about the vaccination campaign and promoted unproven alternative cures.”
“Most” people do. 51%. I thought it would be lower, too.
