I think I just briefly died of cringe.
A buddhist vegan goth with questionable humour.

Yeah, same here. I just don’t see the need to block people. Some might have a different opinion on one topic than me, but be no in agreement or have something worthwile to say on another.
If I was activly harassed or anything, I’d use the block function to protect myself from that. Never had to do that so far.
Fair enoth I guess, it’s not the same.
Seems to be an urban legend tough. Also racist.
I know plenty of women that carry an old school second name because there grandmother’s names are passed down. Like Elisabeth, or Rose or the like.
It’s how the law is in my country (Germany) and I wouldn’t know of any loopholes here.
If you win something in a lottery or a quiz show here, as long as it’s not job related, you don’t have to pay taxes on it. If you win a million you get a million. But if you put that million into a bank or invest it in any way, you have to pay taxes on the money you earn trough that.
Or, and this is a wild one, or the law could give a devinition of “price” that doesn’t open it up for abuse while not taking from people who won something.
The last time was a sofa and a love seat. We were stuck with the most uncomfortable furniture I’ve ever had in my life.
Oh no. They realy gave you an uncomfortable sofa? Bummer. At least you got a nice love seat out of it.
My first thought seeing this
newsheadline without reading the article under it was […]

Yeah, it’s a wild concept, I agree with you. Aren’t there denominations that think your soul goes into hell for a couple of hundert million years untill your sins are purged (the German word is Fegefeuer, no idea how that translates) and then you go to heaven? That sounds at least a bit more reasonable.
CUT THE CHURCH INTO PEACES
I’VE GOT THE HIGEST POST

SALVATION IS OUT OF SIGHT
AND IM STADING UP TO GENOSIDE
That is a very protestant view of the afterlife. Some Christians share it, some don’t.
Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me. …whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Matthew 25:41–43 (NIV)
Be kind to others or burn forever. At least thats how I would read this.
Yes, but the message of the new testament has very little to do with the historical figure of jesus and is build around the ideas of Jesus that devolved in the years after his death. For the later church I would agree: The main message is love.

The article feels like an AI summary to me.
Let me try to engage with the last point rationally.
Yes, of course, Vegans take supplements. At least B12 is a required.
I personally don’t think that makes it a “bad” diet.
From my perspective, it is the morally correct way of living, for many reasons, one of them beeing that it causes the least amount of suffering for sentient beeing.
The point you are making (and correct me if I am wrong) is that taking supplements means it’s not a natural way of eating, hence the need for supplements.
I agree. It is not.
But there are plenty of things that are natural for us, but we have decided that they are morally bad and hence should not be practiced. Violence, for example, is so natural in humans that even after thousands of years of civilisation we still require laws to regulate or punish it, alongside “outlets” for our violence (like Marital Arts or Video Games). I am sure you can think of other things that are natural to humans, but are considered immoral.
Eating animals is, in my opinion, just the next step in that line. It’s something that was needed once but is not any longer, at least for the vast majority of people (as you hinted at in the first half of your comment).
Sry, we don’t use nuance here.
