Those are all good points though I disagree a bit with the brown coats/confederates but I get what you mean.
I think I’ll let that show sit in my memory as it is. Without rewatching any of it I can definitely see the issues. Especially Jayne thinking more on it
I haven’t rewatched firefly in over a decade I think. What has aged so terribly? Also why is the anti hero thing so bad? Played out now?
The bug thing seriously worries me
I remember so many more bugs as a child. I haven’t needed mosquito spray in quite a while even while hiking
To add on for anyone who is lazy like me, the thing where Google summarizes says California has classified bees as fish under an environmental protection act. According to the first result (Reddit) it’s because fish is a catch all term in that law. Instead of listing all the animals they just use fish. Because fish, bees, and the other animals are all invertebrates.
Now whoever reads this has three Lemmy comments, a reddit thread reference, and an ai overview reference as some solid sources
If it’s my internal monologue it’s usually “I”
If I’m writing about myself (like a journal) then also “I”
If it’s a note to remind myself of something then “you”
I have written letters to myself in the future and those are always “you”
They’ll even refund after two hours of your reason is good enough (like say a patch broke the game)
Gotta love that one
I really enjoyed that series (don’t remember which book I stopped on). I think the slowness of it gave a sense of finding a home along with the main character.
They’re amazing pets if you have the time/energy. I recently went into an apartment whose owner had three pet ferrets. Cute little guys but he did not clean them well enough.
I’d love to get them again but I wouldn’t be able to spend the time for play/exercise.
My sense of direction is usually pretty good. If I’m distracted I’ll get turned around fairly easily but it’s not hard for me to figure out where I accidentally went.
