Churbleyimyam@lemm.eeto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•What OS should I use for self-hosting that doesn't require extensive terminal knowledge?English7·12 hours agoYUNOhost is designed for this. You can do almost everything graphically via the webadmin. Mine has been running for a couple of years and I’m very happy with it. I have email, XMPP (both of which were installed out of the box), a website, file sharing and a few other things. There are a tonne of apps available, including Fediverse instances, Nextcloud. It’s a very cool thing to have available for making self-hosting more accessible.

Let me know if you want any tips setting yourself up.
I am off-grid BTW.

I don’t see it as a bad thing though, just a measure of how much love I’ve had in my life. On a practical level, I think it can help you to see what you’ve got with the person you’re with when you can remember what it is to lose it.
I think I see grief as an aspect of love tbh. It’s painful but sweet and beautiful all the same.

I think they were involved with arms and drugs too but it was the tax that they got nailed for. Spent most of their twenties doing some very hard time.
That sounds cool 👍 If you do decide to make it FOSS I’d be happy to try it out and give feedback.

Yeah but monkeys have hands on their feet, so they can pull on the pedal’s upstroke as well as push on the downstroke ☝️
Export routes from cycle.travel and open them in OsmAnd or Organic Maps or on a GPS device. They do the best routes for cycling and you can navigate in aeroplane mode, saving a tonne of battery and getting zero distractions 👍
