That’s gonna be a long and frustrating road of bans before they nip it in the bud. I don’t know if there are other games popular over there, but gamblers are gonna gamble, they’ll make up a game especially for it if they have to!

Yeah, just cum on the inside, problem solved.
The dumb cycle rolls on. Let’s hope humanity can break it some day.
Where there’s a will, there’s a toupee . I am blessed with a full, thick, luscious dark blonde coupe, but everyone around being so negative about hairpieces made me think about them a lot… Following that, I have come to peace with the fact that I might go bald, and I might not like it, and rando hairpiece-haters around me won’t stop me from going all 18th century on my new hairpiece.
My first own house was in the middle of a lot of cultures that are different from my own, and man did those folks LOVE changing their hair every few days, with pieces or otherwise. Every second shop was selling surrogate hair, and it looked very cool. I think that part of those cultures is fucking rad, and it inspired me to pre-emptively accept my own future toupee, if it ever comes to that.
Awwww, it doesn’t even say “This is the year of the Linux desktop!”
With great sacrifice, comes great responsibility…
In dutch they say: “Hunger makes raw beans taste sweet”!
when packing up after windsurfing, they would advise against taking your trapeze off (a huge belly belt that can connect you to the sail, handsfree!) before you had access too food, because more often then not, it would unleash the hunger beast within. It was fun to have that power over your own hunger! GIMME THOSE SWEET BEANS!
I have a similar (writing skill) story to yours but no diagnoses. I just assumed my hand was the wrong shape and didn’t fit the norm that lets you write in the taught and most used form. My hand is too… .scrunched up… when using a pen, to many finger tips on the pen itself.
I see some folks around me with autism diagnoses that have extra difficulty with small motor function, and that often includes below-par handwriting. If that kind of stuff has been hard for you too (like having difficulty with cutlery or scissors), it might be part of the same pattern. If not, you might just have been unlucky when they were handing out hands ;-)
Friend of mine once found a frozen-over cd of “Shaggy - Wasn’t Me” in his backyard, and after cleaned and thawed, it worked no problem. I guess someone really hated that single?
Why even use releases? Everyone can build everything for themselves. ‘Normal Users’ are just lazy, everyone wants to know how every piece of software is built for their system, it’s not like they have other stuff to do.
I have recently been using it more to connect with others on a new subject, but now for the first time ever on the internet since early 00’s, we are all owners of it ourselves. All the great new stuff was always owned by others and frankly I’m sick of it.
I never even liked twitter. Then I followed #nature and #bloomscrolling on mastodon for a while and my home feed was a feast of beautiful pics. So now there’s one use for me for microblogging. Neat! Mastodon does what it says it does and even offers ‘default’ instances. I’d love for some GO’s to help reach that donation goal quicker, so we can all get with the program and ditch corpo social media. -Why doesn’t my library host it’s own peertube?? #MakeLibrariesGreatAgain
The Holy Roman Empire emerged centuries after the fall of the Western Roman Empire and had little direct institutional or cultural continuity with classical Rome. The “Roman” aspect was more of an ideological concept and an attempt to invoke the prestige of the Roman legacy and the idea of a unified Christian empire in the West. So despite the name it was fundamentally a different entity from the ancient Roman Empire.
