Some of the episodes was about your typical conspiracy bullshit, yea, but I had a lot of fun doing FOIA requests and digging up old documents with the insane bullshit the CIA used to do back in the day (injecting LSD into the brains of kids is something I gotta find again but don’t wanna view the pod again to support them) Plus, I didn’t know they’d end up going down the typical route as they seemed to be your typical shock-jock lib types rather than chuds.

Ended up leaving because one of the people straight up turned into an asshole against me because of my “communist bullshit” despite multiple attempts at talking about the host with it and being fully able to deflect his shit back; just didn’t wanna deal with it every episode. Host ended up agreeing because “he didn’t want it political”

I’m not sure what kind of milquetoast muppet thinks conspiracies have nothing to do with politics, but I guess I know now. It makes sense, he ended up becoming more CHUD when he finally got himself into an okay job after a decade of getting fucked over by the companies in his area and living in literal squalor. The same can be done with solar and places where you attempt to set up panels being blocked by local government. The amount of solar needed to actually steadily run a household is pretty huge. Manufacturing/industrial-wise it’s not exactly feasible compared to nuclear.

Nuclear is far more effective, energy efficient and less environmentally damaging than solar.

In parts of New York there are similar ones that are crumbling/shut-down and falling on people.

For your last point, there is a lot of people in the United States who don’t have that. The point should be that despite the immense wealth, how many people are doing okay and etc that there are those who have been truly left behind and grinded down to bits.

I’m sure you and the other person understand that, more so just saying that should be the point they hammer down when talking to people. My partner’s family is from a third world country and they literally had trouble understanding why someone like me would struggle so hard growing up in a place that literally had almost no utilities in a country that was so immensely rich. It may not just compute for them.
