It’s this reaction for me for pretty much every trailer these days. Am I out of touch? No, no it’s the kids who are wrong.
It’s definitely the children. Movies these days suck. Prey is one very notable exception.
Like, what will pop culture references look like in 10-20 years? What content has been so memorable and impactful on society in the last 10 years that it will be worth referencing, or that audiences of the future will even remember?
(I am optimistic for this, but the fucking dreadhawk is a huge red flag)
The death of Nostalgia? Maybe that will trigger something actually new out of the slop and sludge.
So all previous Predators are either balding. Or shave their heads like samurai…
This seems like more of a trailer than a teaser. I’m not complaining. I’m actually unimpressed by “teaser trailers” that are just a logo or some words on the screen. It’s nice to see some actual scenes from the movie for a change.
Here’s the poster.
I don’t watch trailers, but that’s exciting. Prey was fantastic.
I bet Predators have a really hard time eating PB&J sandwiches
Wait, was I supposed to laugh at the trailer? I’m confused.
Yeah, the badass wannabe viking wasn’t a great look…
It didn’t work for me. And his head size was just over the top.
