Every time someone calls himself an “alpha”, I think of Brave New World, in which the speaker would not be an alpha at all.
I just lose all respect for their intellect. They might still be shrewd, but they aren’t likely smart unless it’s a ruse.
In what context? Software versions, Greek letters, Or just the way stupid people use it to make themselves feel better?
